Since I only have to pay for the first class international packages at the counter, I was not aware that barcodes are now being added to all packages.

Fraud is getting to be a very big problem. I feel that sellers should be able to leave negatives for buyers, because this is a way of keeping some people honest. There is a certain group of buyers who would not commit fraud if they could be left negatives. Without that possibility, they do whatever they want.Jennifer Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10405593758228423001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7157530669780468545.post-16313552958598608582011-06-07T18:38:00.407-05:002011-06-07T18:38:00.407-05:00On a different topic, did you know that the Post O...On a different topic, did you know that the Post Office is now putting barcode tracker labels on all packages that do not have tracking paid for? These labels are for the Post Office's use because there have been too many false did-not-receive insurance claims. This way, they can check any package as long as you have your receipt.

It certainly says something about all the buyer fraud going on at eBay and Amazon.

I found this out because I still do my mailing the old way. I do not print e-labels and get the included tracking, etc. All this high-tech stuff is too much for me. I have to draw the line somewhere.

So now, my packages get the printed postage price label at the post office, plus a barcode tracker label that spits out right after it. They are able to track every package this way and know if it was delivered, to combat buyer fraud - which, of course, eBay, Amazon, and all the rest of them encourage.

Mikestratomikerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07037554947654294112noreply@blogger.com
