But I wasn't thinking about the logical process of the story, I was looking for something completely different, namely more info about Centrovia and more insight into the characters. That barn scene though, man, that was dumb. That was one place I was practically screaming at the book "Nancy, think! You idiot!". But that was the only thing that really stuck out to me as being particularly dumb. But I still enjoyed it (then again, it probably didn't help that I was reading it when I was tired as well and wasn't thinking too hard about it, lol). If the dust jacket has chipping, it may still be worth $100 or more. Most collectors prize the Harold Hill editions, but they are very hard to find, so most people don't have them. I have all six, but a few of mine need serious upgrading.Jennifer Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10405593758228423001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7157530669780468545.post-28936340958760730092013-02-02T17:51:17.627-06:002013-02-02T17:51:17.627-06:00A bit off topic, but I found a dust jacket copy of...A bit off topic, but I found a dust jacket copy of The Secret of Red Gate Farm published by Harold Hill and Son. I've noticed that anytime I am critical of a book that others love it and have no problem with it, and that's okay.

I hope to continue my reviews at least to #56. I have read the books up to #37 and have reviews written up to #36. I am taking a break to read a current series, and hopefully, it won't throw me off so much that I don't get back to the Nancy Drew books.

Jennifer Whitehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10405593758228423001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7157530669780468545.post-29658509187547629962013-02-02T09:00:58.127-06:002013-02-02T09:00:58.127-06:00Oh no!
